Follow these instructions first to install our Outlook Add-In
Can't access Add-Ins? Add-Ins are only supported with paid Microsoft 365 accounts. If you are using a free mail account, or have imported another mail type like Gmail or IMAP then you will not be able to use our Outlook Add-In.
You should have been provided with a signature key, or you have an Email Signature Rescue account where you can access your key from. Find the signature key for the signature you want to install, then copy it.
Open Outlook and compose a new email, then select the Message tab at the top if it isn't already open. From the Add-Ins menu ribbon, you should see the pink logo for Email Signature Rescue. Select this to open the Add-In.
Wait a moment for the Add-In to load, then click the pink Add Signature button at the bottom of the Add-In.
Insert your copied signature key and click Verify Signature Key at the bottom.
Give your signature a name and select a color theme so that you can identify it – this is helpful if you're installing multiple email signatures.
Check the options for Add to new emails, reply emails, and forwarded emails as desired.
Click Install Signature.
Your email signature has now been installed into the Email Signature Rescue Outlook Add-In. Click the email signature to add it your emails.
Open your HTML email signature file in your web browser.
Press Ctrl + A to select the entire email signature, then press Ctrl + C to copy it.
IMPORTANT: Do not use your mouse to select the area, only use Ctrl + A as you may miss out on grabbing some of the code.
Open Outlook and select the Settings cog at the top right of your screen.
Select Accounts, then Signatures.
Enter a name for your email signature, then click inside the signature's text field below and press Ctrl + V to paste your copied email signature. Click Save.
At the bottom of the window, set your email signature as default for New Messages and Replies/Forwards. Click Save again.
Close out of your Settings and compose a new email. Your email signature will now automatically insert when composing emails in Outlook Office 365 on Windows.
Show an animated gif that shows where the key value is in our app, it could zoom in from the full page view to where the key button is, show it being pressed, revealing the key and then showing the key value being copied.
