How to setup an email signature in Front

Before you start
Before you start:
- Have your HTML email signature file open in your web browser.
- Login to your Front app account.
Installing in the Front mobile app
Following this guide will also allow your email signature to work within the Front mobile app for iOS and Android. Your email signature will automatically be pulled into the mobile app after saving it within your Front profile settings.
Install: Basic Guide
1Step One
Open your email signature file in your web browser. Select it by pressing Ctrl/Cmd + A then copy it by pressing Ctrl/Cmd + C.
Important: Do not use your mouse to select the area, only use Ctrl + A (or ⌘ + A) as you may miss out on grabbing some of the code.
2Step Two
Open Front App. Select your profile image at the top left, then click on Settings.
3Step Three
On your left toolbar, select My Signatures. Click Add a Signature.
4Step Four
Enter your name and sender info if desired, then click inside the email signature field and delete the existing text. Press Ctrl/Cmd + V to paste your copied email signature.
Save your changes.
5Step Five
Compose a new email and your email signature will automatically insert.
Congratulations! Your email signature is now installed and ready to use!
Install: iOS & Android
To install your email signature into the Front iOS app or Front Android app, all you need to do is follow the above Basic Guide to set up your email signature within the Front web app and it will automatically populate within your iOS or Android mobile app when composing an email.

My email signature doesn't look right when I paste it
More than likely, you have used your mouse to highlight the html email signature file in the browser. Don't use your mouse, only keyboard shortcuts to select all of your email signature. If you use your mouse, you may miss out on some of the vital code needed to make your signature work correctly.
I am composing an email and I can't click on any links or social media icons
In compose mode, most email programs won't allow you to use the links in your email signature. Check to see if your email signature has been installed correctly by sending a test email to yourself instead. The links and social media icons should work when you receive the email.

Troubleshooting: Where do I find my email signature HTML file?
Finding your email signature HTML file
- If you are an Email Signature Rescue member and are logged into your account, you can download your HTML file directly from your Dashboard, by clicking on the Download button.
- If you have been emailed your HTML file, go to the email and open it in your web browser.
- If you have your HTML file saved on your computer hard drive, navigate to where you have saved the HTML file and open it in your web browser.
