How do I add a Facebook button, icon, link in my email signature

Adding a Facebook button, icon or link to direct customers or clients to your Facebook profile or business page in your HTML email signature is easy with Email Signature Rescue.

Facebook links in your email signature do not work in iOS or Android

It's important to note that your usual Facebook link, eg. http://facebook.com/emailsignaturerescue, will not work correctly if clicked from a mobile device. The reason for this is that the Facebook App will try to open the link, and it instead sends you to your Newsfeed, rather than the company Facebook page or profile you are trying to reach.

The way around this is to generate a short URL to your Facebook page first using the Google URL shortener here. Then simply insert the short URL that Google generates for you, into the Facebook link field instead. This forces the link to be opened in the browser, rather than the Facebook App.
