Gmail HTML email signatures not working in the Gmail iOS App [RESOLVED]
In the latest update to the Gmail iOS app on iOS10 (iPhones and iPads), you might notice that your HTML email signature no longer works.
How email signatures on iOS Gmail App used to work
Usually, you would set up your HTML email signature on your web-based version of Gmail (desktop) and it automatically adds it to all your outgoing emails on the iOS Gmail app.
However, for those who have recently updated their Gmail app in November 2016, you might notice that the HTML email signature is no longer inserted on your iOS app.
Gmail iOS app users are not happy
As you can imagine, both Gmail users and GSuite (formerly Google Apps) users who pay money for this service, who are business users and need email signatures, are quite angry and have contacted Google about this.
Google's official response
In this forum post, one GSuite user states that Google are aware of this issue with the HTML email signatures not working on the iOS app on Gmail and say it will be returning with the next update. The Devs just left it out of the most recent update code, which is a pretty big stuff up if you ask us!

I contacted with G Suite support two minutes ago. I'm very happy with the support received from a very friendly technician. He cannot solve the problem, but understood perfectly our question. Only today G suite support received 40 calls about this question. It seems that the developers have forgotten this option. we expect to be available with the next update.
In Conclusion
So hang tight, your Gmail HTML email signatures will be returning to the Gmail iOS app in a future update. Until then, we highly recommend you contact Google through the feedback option in your Gmail iOS app to report your HTML email signature isn't working too. There's been a few releases to date that still has not fixed the issue, so let's make them aware that this is important and needs to be fixed as a matter of urgency.
