Install: Step-by-Step Guide
IMPORTANT:
In order to install your email signature into the Proton Mail App for iOS, you must first install it in your web-based Proton Mail account.
If you haven't yet done this, please follow our Proton Mail installation guide to do this first.
1Step One
Open your Proton Mail App and tap the Menu icon at the top left.
Select Settings.
2Step Two
Enable the Auto show images setting, then scroll down and select Signature.
3Step Three
You should see your email signature code in the bottom field. This is the code from your signature that's installed into your web-based Proton Mail account.
Tap Enable Default Signature to activate it. The button should be green when enabled.
4Step Four
Tap your Menu icon and go back to your inbox, then compose a new email by tapping the pencil icon at the top right of your app.
Your email signature will automatically insert into your email.
All Done!
Now that your signature has been pasted into your settings and is displaying correctly all you have to do is start emailing!

The images in my signature are displaying as blank boxes
If you're seeing blank boxes in your email signature, you need to go to your Settings and enable Auto Show Images.
I am composing an email and I can't click on any links or social media icons
In compose mode, most email programs won't allow you to use the links in your email signature. Check to see if your email signature has been installed correctly by sending a test email to yourself instead. The links and social media icons will work when you receive the email.

Troubleshooting: Where do I find my email signature HTML file?
Finding your email signature HTML file
- If you are an Email Signature Rescue member and are logged into your account, you can download your HTML file directly from your Dashboard, by clicking on the Download button.
- If you have been emailed your HTML file, go to the email and open the file in your web browser.
- If you have your HTML file saved on your computer hard drive, navigate to where you have saved the HTML file and open with your web browser.
